I get the hate of the text though. Took me like 2 weeks to get through the first 4.5 hours which was like a tutorial with no gameplay. Then 30 hours in it's another ~2 hours of text at the science place

But everything else is sick. I don't mind the frame rate drops in double battles. I need to decide if I get x or y next then I've done every gen

Nope I bought this one actually. Friend gave me a gift card to a used game store a block away from me. They had it for like 25 bucks

I went back the other day and they don't have x or y so I might just get a rom instead

Thats dope me personally imma probably play a rom eventually

Drayano s*** is so dope. I still like other stuff like emerald seaglass (amazing on OLED) and emerald cross is always my go to for a nuzlocke run - gives your like 100 settings to set it up however you want

Poke fam my Pokémon home ran out and I bought 12 months for $2.50 cause my active Apple ID was from turkey I didn’t even know this was possible

Just beat Arceus. S***s fun. Wish this was like a 120 hour game. Go back through whatever portal and bam now it’s an emerald, pearl, black, or some new run, then both stories tie together for the third act. Excited for ZA though.

With a high end story and new world, yes

But it has some focus on dungeon crawling so some nerds on Reddit were pissed off when I reccomended it on a thread about games like unbound (every other answer was "no such thing")

I played a bit of odyssey like 2 years ago in an early beta and it looks phenomenal even if there's caves in it. I keep forgetting to see if it released, I swear the maker said by April 2025. But the release has been pushed back like 10 times now, though it's been partially playable for ages

I'll check in to it. I loved unbound. That game was ahead of it's time and it only got better with new updates.

I've had Violet since it came out and never played it more than the intro section. Quit because the whole first couple hours were annoying.

Picked it up yesterday again on a whim and once the game opens up, the gameplay loop is addicting. I actually like how janky it is. I fought a pokemon yesterday while I was standing mid air and it was caught between some rocks. Reminds of the ps2 era.
