We’re talking about them being able to live off their work not them being well off no one is saying writers should have 100k+ sitting in their checking account

It’s not about being rich it’s about being able to work in this profession and being able to afford basic things like rent and healthcare

A lot of these writers and actors (not A-List ofc) work multiple jobs

With an average in the 60ks as someone said earlier that's not a problem

15%ish on an agent

then LA living costs which are ridiculous

very many actors and writers have multiple jobs, ineligible for healthcare, without a living wage while the studio heads, CEO's and executives are making 100s of millions of dollars and taking huge bonuses off of the content that the actors and writers are creating.

60k in LA and New York is nothing when you count for cost of living for those areas. That plus manager/agent fees
