the first writers strike was pre streamers so i get why people felt like there was a content desert for a while, but like almost every good show and movie ever made is easily accessible now.

writers were f***ed historically in Hollywood. I mentioned Sydney Lumet's book a few pages back, there's a chapter dedicated to that (in part at least), I suggest you read it. the book is called Making Movies and im sure theres a pdf out there
