I see what ya mean about "god tier kids movie" Because it does have a similar structure, aspects and emotional beats as a kids movie but executed at extremely high levels.

That being said i really loved this movie, the whole theater clapped for like 2 minutes after it finished. A really heartfelt movie about friendship. The dual storyline in past and present were both equally intriguing and visually and editing wise, the movie is gorgeous

but nah, in all seriousness, i think it’s a solid film, but not a masterpiece like people hype it up to be. it’s carried by the visual spectacles and score but god, there’s so much exposition and it overstays its welcome.

I don’t mind it tbh plus all the good seats were taken at the 6pm

I got work Saturday night into Sunday morning so schedule should actually line up perfectly
