What was the Astro side project
despite the quality of the albums, j. cole rollouts are usually pretty dope
damn, went to last page to reply exactly this.
Yeezus because it came out of nowhere, the imagery was shocking and made a sudden impact, it had an interactive/community-building element to it, and it wasnt stretched out over months
so basically nothing punch is capable of doing. the DAMN rollout was fine and should be their blueprint though
u been breakin out the matrix lately, dont think ur efforts haven’t gone unnoticed young man
the life of pablo. I remember the hype for this being so high
that rollout was terrible if you include the entire So Help Me God and Swish parts of it. I remember I had to listen to the SNL version of Wolves for over a year lol
any album where it's like "here's a single with a video, album title, and release date" outta nowhere and the the release date is like 1 week to 1 month away is a good rollout imo
Hate to say it but views. s*** had me hyped up. took a lot of balls for drake to keep referring to the project on other people's tracks (on killer verses). shame the album was mid
also TLOP
tlop had the best rollout ever imo just cause of yeezy season 3 that event alone put so many people on the map
Asap Rocky’s rollout for Testing was great. When his AWGE collective was really going crazy

It was great but I’m sorry, like who?
