the life of pablo. I remember the hype for this being so high
wheeew this one was crazy
Off top of my head watch the throne was fun as hell just because the Otis video was perfection and everyone just knew it was going to slap
Hate to say it but views. s*** had me hyped up. took a lot of balls for drake to keep referring to the project on other people's tracks (on killer verses). shame the album was mid
I think the hype didnt mean the album expectations but its a decent tape. usually filler songs that should be removed but solid listen throughout
Yeezus rollout was amazing
Pablo rollout was insane
Because the Internet was my favorite one ever tbh, it just clicked w me to the core
2018 GOOD music rollout was crazy

I was very annoyed with the rollout lol. So weird him changing every thing multiple times, the cover, the title, the tracklist, and back when we all thought he'll drop during MSG night he delayed it again, and the first month being Tidal exclusive and then him changing the songs and the tracklist again and releasing it on all platforms? So confusing!
And the weird Wiz beef where he told him I own your son. Really weird era.
Asap Rocky’s rollout for Testing was great. When his AWGE collective was really going crazy
Everybody already thought it was going to be his worst album when he dropped Five Stars. Not a good rollout. Plus it got overlooked for dropping on Pusha day.
I'll tell you what's corny and needs to stop, and that's blacking your IG and deleting all the posts.

Yep especially when there's nothing dropping later
new Reason soon
I would just say, Punch, think about how you want to do a rollout, and then do the exact opposite.
Imo guys like Kendrick don’t need a single or a roll out. High concept albums work best when it’s ingested all at once.
Rollouts almost always seem desperate and pathetic these days. If the music is fire anyway, rollouts are unnecessary for established superstar artists.
An era is very different from a rollout.
You can be active close to your release and have classic moments connecting with fans, filling us in on what you’re doing, where you’re at in life, but a traditional rollout with singles and getting people to preorder your s*** is salesy and a big turn off for me.
