gonna cook up my rivette list after rewatching paris nous appartient tomorrow. remember having a hard time with the film but now almost 2 yrs later he’s def one of my faves and I find them much easier to watch.

paris was quite straining and dull at the time for me because i wasnt really familiar with such films

I loved it. A rewatch is due though once I've watched all the remaining Fassbinder films on my watchlist.

Apparently a rewatch helps if you weren't blasted on shrooms the first time though

It'd probably help if you knew how i rated the films in that list tbh:

    1-6 = 5 stars

    7-15 = 4.5 stars

    16-23 = 4 stars

    24 & 25 = 3.5 stars

    26 = 3 stars

So Million Dollar Baby and Mystic River are for sure among my top tier Clint films.

But if you haven't watched a bunch of the films in that list, especially any in my top 5, then you definitely should soon because he has indeed made a ton of dope ass films.

To me everything on there except Heartbreak Ridge is great at the very least

I posted this in the Gaspar Noé thread already but might as well post it here too

    1 - Climax | 10/10
    2 - Enter The Void | 10/10
    3 - Irréversible | 9/10
    4 - Lux Æterna | 8/10
5 - Love | 8/10 (ok this one might be very controversial)
    6 - I Stand Alone | 7/10

Might not be for every one but i personally think he's one of the best at creating immersive audiovisual experiences of all time
