The Capcom curse is still in effect. If their fighting games thrive and received well, their other properties suffer. If their other properties are doing well, the fighting games suffer.

MVCI is straight up dead, and SFV is kinda in the balancing between goat n woat

I gotta say I didn't expect it that quick. RE2 was one of the best remakes ever and I really expect 3 to be on par. IDK much about the spin offs of RE but I'd love to see the next title being RE4 Remake, even though the game aged extremely well I think the new engine and a little polishing could easily make this a 10/10 for me.
