LucaYeah, I’ve been making sure to turn my map as blue as possible. Sometimes I end up trying to not kill all the zombies (or can’t due to no ammo) but I feel like with the re-exploration I’ve just done I ended up killing all that I came across.
This is my first time playing old school RE, ive only played new school RE.
Hopefully it will get slightly easier once I get the machine gun or whatever. I have the staff but I don’t know how close I am to have the area that leads to the interrogation room unlocked.
I’ve only actually died one time so far in this game and it was super early on so I guess it’s not hard in that sense per se just hard trying to get around the zombies when you have no ammo. I’m playing Claire and thankfully ammo has been a bit betyer with the having both the handgun and the grenade launcher.
Apparently I played 4 hours tonight but I’m definitely not 4 hours into the story LOL
Also, make sure you’re combining your herbs. For Claire I’d recommend using the white gunpowder to make SMG ammo instead of acid rounds.
And you’re right, as you get more comfortable with the layout things will
Get much easier, traversal around the station will become second nature. Can’t wait til you meet Mr. X!

rise zeroBlowing their legs off vs killing them saves a lot of ammo as well. Especially on Hardcore.
True, shooting them in the leg is good but they can still be annoying as you try and explore if you keep them around. Maybe I’ll start just shooting the legs more.

Why does RE2 taunt you with sub machine gun ammo before you even get access to the gun.
I got no knife, no grenade launcher ammo, no grenades, and only 1 handgun bullet left but 136 sub machine gun bullets I can’t even use.

It’s all good. I just got to the parking garage.
Hopefully I get the sub machine gun soon because while I’ve only died 1 time the entire game, it’s hard to move places if you have nothing to fight with

Apparently I’m relative close to finishing RE2? I want to continue playing tonight if so but I should get some sleep.
Even though I’ve put 9 hours into this game already it feels short. I guess that’s why they incentivize you to play all 4 campaigns.

I can beat the story in 2 hours it’s meant to be speedran
