Bernie XIt’s sampling without the charm of sampling
It’s pretty much sampling but without other producers throwing their bussy at you
All depends on what you value more, making cool music and collaboration, or having other producers want to suck you off
I wouldn't use loops personally, I'd much rather sample a song I know for the emotional connexion and for the possibility of someone going "hey I know this song this is cool" instead of someone going "hey I know this loop metro used it on the last savage mode album f*** this nobody who does he think he is!"

If so, then yes because that is literally stealing. But if an artist samples an old song of mine and makes a dope song out of it, I get a cut of the backend and a writing or add. production credit, but no verbal credit or feature I would not give a f***. That’s how it’s supposed to work in the industry, and it’s the labels job to do that
