I don't have the vaccine but I'm planning on getting it within the next 2 months, I think it's pretty reasonable. A big thing with covid was people downplaying it's severity and how it's just a flu. You rolled the dice on your immune system being strong enough and lost lmao. I do think anyone with a chance of being hospitalized should get it. If you don't just to prove a point about your own health or political party then it's on you

By their same logic the hospitals could turn away the poor , d*** addicts , homeless or those that refused any medicine . They think they are virtue signaling by wanting everyone to get the vaccine but viewing unvaccinated as lesser beings says everything about them I need to know

At this point you might as well wait for Pfizer omicron update

This thread OP was about transplants, which is a totally different thing than straight up turning down care.

You get turned down from transplants if you are still a d*** addict or refuse to take medication orders by your doctor

First link and title imply about care at all . The transplant argument already been done in another thread . It’s a dumb argument but it’s been done

Its not a dumb argument tho lmao

There isn't unlimited organs and there is always triage to determine who gets them.

OP was stupid titling it this way but using references about transplants.

Turning down care because of not having a vaccine is ridiculous.

I mean in the sense that I myself am an organ donor and if I could choose it would go to anyone be they unvaccinated or not .

You don't get to choose tho, unless your aliive still, and never have.

Someone who's vaccinated from COVID but doesn't take their high blood pressure meds is just as unlikely to get it either.

There's a shortage and always will be for viable organs, and they should go to who needs them most and who are most likely to survive long-term with them.

  • Problem solved I will stop being an organ donor because I think an unvaccinated person deserves a chance

Well speaking from experience, the worst it did was give me a 2 day headache. I doubt that would be the case if I had a weaker immune system. What other factors are there that explain why some people recover quicker/easier from covid? Educate me please. Now is your chance to make some good points.

And what else can Covid do "more than making you sick"? Educate me on that one too please

No. They should just have to pay out of pocket for care related to Covid complications if they willingly refused the vaccine

    Insurance shouldn’t cover them.

If they’re in there for a heart attack and refused the vax then who cares. Treat them for the heart attack like you would anyone else. If Covid is f***ing them up and they need to be intubated in the ICU then let them know it’s coming out of their pockets.
