Or drive, this is a bit off topic. But we take a driving test once.

That needs to happen every 10 years. Some people on the road need to f*** off

If Texas flipped this election, people would still be calling for the electoral college to go. It’s stupid regardless.

if the electoral college ends up favoring dems within the next decade, i doubt it. But we’ll see

The best way to do this and make everyone happy:

    1. Adjust the House of Representatives after every census so that EC votes line up accurately with population.

    2. Portion out the EC votes so that they are proportional to the number of popular votes received.

Empowers voters, keeps the electoral college alive. Done.

Going full popular vote would decimate the Republican Party and I am here for that.

    how about a compromise.

each state should have an electoral vote number equal to that of the amount of voting participants that year, and then each R or D vote in the state gets tallied up and both are awarded to their respective candidate. whoever gets the most nationwide wins the election

I would also advocate for mandatory voting also but that will never happen in USA

Tbh as much as I hate the concept of a two party system/country you need a legitimate opposition to keep your own party honest and normal

If one party had a complete "monopoly" on politics then things would get extreme and crazy

  • Nov 9, 2020

Yes popular vote. Republicans have lost the majority 7 out the past 8 elections. It’s ridiculous.

I actuallly think this would be better for party politics. It would force the parties to become more anonymous esepcially down ballot races. They would actually have to run on policy instead of party

Also senators should have to fight for their seats every 2 years. So that if you’re f***ing up we can get you out there quickly

I’m for it. Even with the Supreme Court. That’s the only way to keep the positions honest.
