2014-2016 was a whole different world where Plugg Beatz and Chief Keef ruled the entire f***ing scene

stereotypical soundcloud rap is second wave stuff from 2016. It always has been and always was defined as such.
Lil Tracy and Lil Peep and Trippie Redd were not popular like the others until over a year after the second wave came into being, even if they had their own following.
