You're literally raising your blood pressure over someone being incorrect about irrelevant ass rappers. Calm down.

like cmon this was barely five years ago how do you not remember this era
i honestly feel like purpp had the potential to be seen as one of the greats but he signed to a s***ty label super early. he would've been a star if he dropped og DS2 in 2018
yeah that murda tape really sucked too, killed his momentum
Denzel Curry is NOT a SoundCloud rapper.
Just cause you wasn’t involved doesn’t mean that someone wasn’t there. You just didn’t peep, and that’s it.
When people say "SoundCloud" rap, their talking primarily of that grunge type rap music that came out during this time. Most notably s*** from Florida like Lil Pump.
Tell me; HOW is Uzi even comparable to that garbage. None of that music is even similar to Uzi. He's NOT a soundcloud rapper
You an actual dumbass
The second wave would not exist without the first (which in reality is the second wave if we consider the OG OG SC rappers like SHWB and SadBoys and Goth Money and the like, making the 2017 wave the third wave)
The first wave was entirely composed of people who ended up on the 2016 Freshman List
Is Snot part of a 4th wave, who are the others in this wave.
I honestly haven't heard of this dude until like last year.
Just cause he was popular/coming up during the time of SoundCloud doesn't mean he's a SoundCloud rapper.
He was backed by labels, he didn't start out by uploading his tracks to SoundCloud and gaining an audience during 2016 or whenever this whole era was.
Nigga just spreading lies lol

snot and them are mad new, i didn’t hear about him earlier than last spring
i’d say this new underground (ken carson, sofaygo, autumn, ssgkobe, etc) make a lot of use of twitter for marketing while uploading a majority of music to streaming
soundcloud is basically dead at this point, it’s executives made some STUPID marketing choices

yea facts, I feel like most of these new guys are inspired from the soundcloud sound and have affiliations with them. But they can't really be categorized as SC rappers, more like a post SC wave.

yeah i use SC to designate specifically those who used the platform and not necessarily style
but the use of the platform can be categorized into eras and waves based upon styles
