spoil the other two i’m never gonna watch this
the sister is in the basement and says "I feEl wEirD" then it shows a badly photoshopped still frame of her without a mouth like one of those newgrounds flash videos you trick your friends into watching in middle school where a scary image pops up after you stare at it for long enough
The second one is a creepy voice tells the kid to stick a knife in his eye and he does it off-screen, he screams for a second but after that he's totally fine and just hangs out watching cartoons
Only people in my theater walked out halfway through lmaoo
Man that would make me uncomfortable af
Hit a weird zone last night where I was falling asleep but still fully watching at the same time. That would usually be a problem but it kind of worked for this movie lol

hmmm this doesn’t help me decide if I should watch lol

I appreciate it for what it is more than actually enjoying the film. I went in totally blind and wasn't sure what to expect at all.
This would have been great to see in theaters. I still vividly remember seeing The Blair Witch Project and Paranormal Activity in theaters so I can totally see how people could get a similar experience with this film. I LOVED The Blair Witch Project and my family who went with me on my suggestion hated it so much they basically never wanted me to suggest a movie to see again

damn this is that type of movie
Great movie. I sat in the front row of the movie theater and that was definitely the way to go. A polarizing movie for sure but it took me back to staying up late as a kid and having sleep paralysis
Honestly one of the best things I've seen in recent memory if they cut the last 15 minutes. They're not bad, and they don't ruin anything, for me it just dispelled all the tension that had built over the course of the movie. as it stands i'd say 7/10, far better than I was expecting after hearing people hate it
Almost every time I was about to lose interest something happened that got me right back on the edge of my seat. I was dead silent on my couch in the pitch black for the whole hour and a half with the volume cranked.
also it wasn't like this made me relive my childhood trauma or even called back to any great fear I had, it just stood really well on it's own as being pretty good in my experience. So make of that what you will
really wish this worked better for me. it just felt like it was stretching it self way too thin.
some great composition and vibes. at it's best, it tapped into a really innocent sense of horror for a lack of a better description but at it's worst it was just boring.
I saw it in theaters and really enjoyed it. I think something would be missing if you stream it on a smaller system.
It’s really surreal and feels like a fever dream. I think approaching it like a conventional movie is why a lot of people are hating it. I completely get it though. When I watched it, it felt like I was in a trance. It’s less about getting from point A to point B and more about the atmosphere that it presents.
It reminds me a lot of a student film, both good and bad. Good because it feels like it focuses more on making a visual and audio experience and not necessarily a “movie” which is refreshing to me. Bad because it definitely over indulges in things. The scenes where things are reversing over and over again felt like the director discovering the effect when editing the movie, and randomly inserted it because it was cool.
Overall, I liked it, 8/10, even. Really weird it got a viral push on Tik Tok though. It feels like the opposite of what the platforms about.

Yeah for real, I don’t think I’ve ever seen something so experimental collide with mainstream interest
My hunch is that Zoomers are getting incredibly desperate to feel something
this was really cool
like the scary stuff is super super scary
but some of it is also pretty boring but also i understand why because it builds tension but man some of that was hard to watch
