tbf it's not really his mix he just picked most tunes for a breakfast show. Def a noticable difference to his "proper" mixes where he'd just do a lot more mixing and it's all in thematic sections and stuff not just "I like this and also this is cool". Glad we got a more laid-back show like that from him tbh

Talking about instruments, performing, also saying he got an album inspired by "a lot of Renaissance stuff" and castles (🤔) he's been working on for 3 years, he got a name for it already but is in no rush to finish it atm.

cool to have my theory that the rap tracks were very inspired by Frank so directly confirmed lol, literally was almost about to ask him after the show in London 2020 if that was inspired by Frank because that was my first association but then thought maybe that's reductive lol

How long are Slauson's sets usually?

I see he's opening for Helado Negro and that show starts at 8 at Brooklyn Steel, and I have tickets to see Dijon at Music Hall of Williamsburg, which starts at 9.
Yall think I could catch Slauson and make it to Dijon by 8:55?

Edit: I'm sure someone is going to say that shows usually run late, but this is under the expectation everything starts on time.
