I have this sometimes when I nap. It is like I dont even realize I am sleeping I just see one point of my room and have this uncomfortable feeling that somebody is right behind me, disabling me to move.

It‘s weird when you think you are awake and cant even turn your head.

first time i had sleep paralysis it was short but terrifying

I hd it in college, I dreamt I was f***ing my science professor and when I woke I was paralyzed and she was standing there naked staring at me menacingly from the other end of the bed. Lasted about 30 mins and honestly wasn’t that bad considering some of you were in bed with demons

Just wake up p**** lol

Overhyped tbh, remember once being stuck in a sleep paralysis loop, it was bare annoying

Just start with trying to move something small. Toes feet fingers hands. And go from sometimes you can jerk/rock yourself awake it just takes a lot of effort/Entergy

How to know if I ever had one, what are the symptoms?

Had one back in 2011.
I woke up in bed (but was still sleeping) and couldn’t move or anything. Then this demon hound started to crawl on the bed and on top of me. It was pitch black with red eyes and horns. It had a long tongue also. I tried to twist and turn and shout out to my mom to help me but it felt like my mouth was covered.

After minutes of struggling with this demon hound on me I turned to my TV and somehow someway it woke me up.

That dream still haunts me to this day and I keep the TV on since that’s what saved me lol

have had it multiple times. hate it

You wide awake in your bed, well atleast it seems like you are

But you can’t make no movement and no noise, sometimes people hallucinate and feel like theirs weight holding you down. It’s scary the first time, just gets annoying afterwards lol

I've always wondered, if someone touch u while paralysed do u snap out of it ?

theres been cases where peope feel pain, but go on and try your lil experiment

I was drunk asf last night and thought the thread was about insomnia not sleep paralysis

I used to get sleep paralysis every night as a kid like no joke, got to a point where I was sp used to it I could just close my eyes and fall back asleep, just practice doing that like its mind over matter just know its your body being weird asf and whatever you see is fake
