na. there's a small population of ppl who i find annoying in their insistence for everyone to actively announce their pronouns, but most who do the pronouns bio stuff do it cus they think it's reasonable enough to them. n it isn't harmful by itself at all

Social media isn’t the issue. It’s the person behind the screen. You control what you follow and see on your feed. It’s essentially a reflection of yourself and how you use your time on it
i agree that it's a reflection of how one uses their time on social media, but it's definitely not a reflection of a person

and you only kinda control what you see on your feeds. recommendations-based-on-previous-data only stretch to like closely related subjects to whatever the data-tracking s*** is picking up your interest in. i think thas a social media-centric prob, cus it leans into feedback loops very easy
