The revolution isnt won or even helped by consumable entertainment that can sort of be called "news". It's helped by action. Any action you can take on the ground

Entertainment can co op revolutionary sentiments but that's ultimately all it does. It co opts it. Like for example the movie about Fred Hampton. Which mostly left out his advocation for socialism and reduced him to a vague radical aesthetic. This stuff is not a sign of improvements in the movement it's just a sign of a more pacified population
