ngl the characters lack the depth and relatability the first season did. it'd be a lot better if they just used this season to display how the game creators got so depraved in DETAIL rather than glimpses
Season 3 is basically season 2.5 so it’s hard for me to have a complete opinion of this until i see how they land it
Why did the game ppl allow Thanos to keep his cross of d**** lmao
Did he negotiate that beforehand as a celebrity joining the game???

Im thinking they allowed it because at the end of the day they want to be entertained

Entertainment factor, especially if he survived for the VIP’s later
Gi-hun only got his tracking took away cos they knew he was up to something, made sense to thoroughly check him for extra s***
The mother wouldnt have allowed to take in the hair pin if she was also on some revenge mission going back into the game
This was a good season and the criticism it's getting is stupid af
What criticism you talking about specifically?
My only criticisms is not nearly as many good characters in the games as round 1 and that stupid shootout revolution plan at the end
really shocked to see ppl not liking this season, i thought it was amazing. i enjoyed it the same amount as season 1 if not a lil more
this s*** really is about class consciousness

The only criticism I agree with is around the shootout revolution
The cast is as great as season 1 imo
The focus on picking a team and voting on whether to continue the game or not, fits the theme of the season.
It was already surprising that in season 1 they chose to return to the game. And now in this season it’s given a strategic aspect. They have no issue getting more money in the expense of other people’s lives. And the people that are more willing to do that are the ones who survive longer.
Plus like the first episode obviously suggests it’s about these people’s mentality to gamble with their lives out of hopelessness.
It all relates to the human/psychological aspect and the frontman and Gi Hun’s philosophical conflict.
Also there was criticism about the games themselves. I’m glad they added new games and also that it’s less about the games. Otherwise it would be too similar to season 1.
I also agree with the criticism around the swat team plot / the female soldier plot. They would likely be resolved in season 3 but I would’ve liked more progression.

New games were lit, especially the carousel one
It's ok to say that final episode revolution plan was the worst thing ever
ngl it was one of my favourite parts. It makes as much sense as any other plot point in the show imo

No tf it doesnt
NO ONE would believe that overthrowing the entire game taking out an army of gun weilding henchmen was better odds of survival than surviving fork weilding fellow players wtf are you talking about lmao

Because it wasn't about just surviving the games. It was about ending it forever. They had this debate in the show, and they trusted Gi-hun knew what was for the best. It made perfect sense why they did the revolt lol

thats really where you draw your line of suspension of disbelief?

Hell no cuz while he was hellbent the whole season on doing that he just threw that idea on them last minute and they were just like "durrrrr mkay""
