Hell no cuz while he was hellbent the whole season on doing that he just threw that idea on them last minute and they were just like "durrrrr mkay""
Throughout the season they built up that the group will trust his judgement. His best friend and the frontman pretty much said they'll do whatever he says after they initially didn't listen to his decisions, along with others.
So yeah he did just threw his plan on them, but that was supposed to show how selfish he really is. But even though they agreed to the plan, they were still reluctant. Which is where u get the marine guy being afraid the whole time

Idk if it was supposed to show selfishness. It was supposed to show Gi Hun is willing to sacrifice a few people for the greater good which is where the frontman "got him". Because allegedly that's what the games are doing. Killing the weak desperate people of the world and turning the lucky survivor rich.

Yeah i agree but I that goes hand in hand with selfishness because he put his objectives over the well being of the group
Why did that ex-marine guy suddenly start tweaking, as if he hadn’t already seen people getting shot at and dying before?

I’d call it hypocrisy

Yeah it was just a stupid plan too because they have no intel on the facility and how many soldiers they have. Gi-Hun also knows they're on an island and there's no means of communication. It was a suicide mission and no one really questioned it enough. Now all his supporters got killed and they're gonna continue the games anyways now that most of the people that wanted to leave are dead so they lose the vote

Yup
My hate for that plan is two fold
1) on an entertainment/media level its so cliched to do that in a death games followup and it's never as good/entertaining as the games they re interrupting
2) on a logic level it makes no sense to think it was doable/more doable then surviving a knife fight and winning the vote the next day. One of beat things about death game media is to see how ppl react to the crazy situations and put yourself in their shoes. Them trying to do this isn't believable or logical in any way at all
Why did that ex-marine guy suddenly start tweaking, as if he hadn’t already seen people getting shot at and dying before?
cause he's not actually an ex marine or ptsd

Seems to be some kinda relevancy to how he was holding the ammo stacks like a baby and froze in place when hearing the gunshots
Maybe he was tryna save a child as a marine and failed and suffers from PTSD for it
cause he's not actually an ex marine or ptsd
My point wasn't about whether he’s actually an ex-marine. It was about the inconsistency of his reaction given the stuff he was presented with (having prior exposure to violence). You're not adressing my point.

Ah, see. Now this makes sense good catch, man.

Idk he just felt like he was gonna die and had the choice to run away from that
Season was fine, actually didn't see the boat captain twist coming.
Like most are saying the cast isn't aa good but also they didn't really spend much time on some potentially interesting characters cuz they gave too much time to that thanos clown
Something didn't sit right with me watching him during his restaurant scene with Choi Woo-seok for some reason
watching season 1 for the first time and this type of show doesn’t sit right with my spirit but sae-beyok is gorgeous

You can't be serious, what you would have preferred to spend more time with that one note mommas boy? Or the krypto bro over thanos?
