honestly fine with bad batch getting pushed to january since we’re getting this instead, looks amazing from the trailer
always wanted them to explore these events more
i just wonder what happened to a droid story lol seems shelved maybe
These are the things from the skywalker trilogy that disney gets right lol
Disney and lucasfilm just needs to hire a specific team for the skywalker trilogy that keeps things concise and tasteful for longtime fans and then they can have a different team focus on a different time period away from the skywalker era for the new generation of kids who will grow up on star wars(the “disney” way)
can't wait for this show
i'm enjoying this but i'm kinda pissed at filoni for erasing the ahsoka novel. it isn't the first time he's done this and it's starting to get on my nerves. don't give other writers control of his characters if he's not gonna respect the decisions they make.
Wait what
Star Wars Animation been carrying this franchise since the Disney purchase lowkey
More prequel + clone war era narratives not based around Anakin, Rex, Kenobi or Ahsoka is what I’ve been wanting

I never finished that novel tbh, got halfway thru and just got caught up in other stuff. How much major stuff got retconned besides lightsaber color, and I guess the Maul fight/escape scene got changed from TCW

lol tbh i haven't read the novel either, i'm really picky with the star wars books i read these days, but from what i've seen it fully decanonizes the book, most notably her birth and how she first meets certain characters. i'm mostly talking the principle tho. we were told years ago that the novels were 100% canon, on the same level as everything else and that films/shows will never conflict with the novels. then a few years later it became the novels are definitely canon but films/shows are a level above because some people pointed out that while rey/poe meet in the TFA novel, they don't meet in the film... their first meeting on-screen is in TLJ and it's noted in the film that it is their first meeting.
now they just don't care, we're quickly headed towards where we were pre-disney where some novels were more canon than others but none of them truly were canon. filoni has been the biggest culprit.
