the original album only has 13 songs so if 6 are unreleased wtf are the other 13 tracks gonna be?
Looks like it’s a re-recorded version of the Platinum Edition of Fearless
Can't wait for a re-recorded Blank Space (if that happens)

yeah she is re recording the first 5 records
so from s/t to 1989
Questionable career move for anyone else but I guess she can do whatever she wants
This is really the music equivalent of releasing a remastered version of a last gen video game
That makes sense but def super complicated. I’m curious how things will go if a company wants to use a song for a trailer or commercial — will Taylor and the private equity firm that bought the original recordings both be undercutting each other to sell their version?
Yeah, that whole situation is definitely tricky, but I imagine that just out of support, anyone who wants to use any songs from her first 6 albums will use the songs from the re-recorded versions so Taylor gives them permission instead.
Will the songs be the same or will she tweak them a bit?
We'll have to wait and hear but I'm guessing they'll be even better now than back then.
Just started listening to the album for the first time in years.. Some of these vocals are painful to listen to. She’s definitely improved based on her last two albums
I'm interested in how she's going to roll out the remaining 5 albums. I wonder if she'll rush them out or if she'll take her time and space out their releases over several years.
Either way, glad she's finally gotten a compromise in owning her master recordings again.

Not really a questionable career move by anyone honestly. She doesn’t own the current versions of her first 6 albums, so by rerecording them and releasing them independently she makes all the bank from it

don't even care about taylor, but the reason for rerecording the albums seems pretty legit no ?
imagine when she re-releases 1989
