I wonder how this affects billboard. Will all her re-recorded songs count as brand new songs?
Yes. The album as well.

Damn that’s basically cheating lmao. She’s bout to have all her hit songs count twice for her in the stat sheet
The new versions of Jojo's songs sounded like s*** lmao
I'm very curious to see how this goes

Blame it on the labels

She's gonna extend this record so much that no female artist will ever come close. She'll probably even surpass Lil Wayne eventually.

Yea I have no idea how she can get away with this. Are the contracts really that flimsy that she can just re-record the same song and it counts as a new song? Would her masters not include the intellectual property, or literally just that one recording lol....
she been working hard as hell during quarantine it’s crazy
She probably has a brand new album on the way as well.
Anyone else is allowed to do this by the way, so many legends have re-recorded previous albums, re-released songs in compilations or hits albums, recorded live version or remixes and had those count. This isn't anything new Taylor just happens to have a good reason to do it and dedicated fans to help it be successful. There's nothing wrong or cheating about it, really unfair criticizing her for something everyone else has done before
why does no one care
Too busy listening to post
love story got a special place in my heart my dad loved this song. good times when i was eight and he'd take me to his job in the bronx.
it's funny too cause dude grew up in medellin surrounded by cartels and s*** and he loved taylor swift and adele
Sounds damn near the same I guess that's the point
its bit more polished then original
point is to own her rights to her masters while making a lot money they gonna eat this s*** up no problem
