I’m not a huge Fearless fan but I’m curious in general how similar or different the new versions will sound to the original

The classics are perma burned into my brain hearing new versions gonna be weird

Love Story sounds pretty similar to the original, her vocals are much more mature and powerful

And when it comes to certain big songs from 1989 and Red you might be right but I’m willing to give blank space 2.0 a shot (for example), maybe it’ll sound just as good

I have to imagine there’s probably diminishing returns on re-recorded albums. With this one she was YOUNG so I can see how revisiting material like that when you’re older would be interesting for both her and her fans. But red or 1989? They didn’t even come out that long ago. I don’t know how you would re-record that and make it very different.

I guess she’s doing it because she doesn’t own her music anymore but from an artistic standpoint it’s a little questionable.
