op on the chance of you really having something with this you should make sure your idea isn't stolen

nah its cool really
i just was proposing an alternative to what i think is an outdated concept
i wanted to get it out there so other visual artists can see it
Defeats the entire point if writing parental advisory on it
thats the point tho lol
the logo has evolved past the stage of requiring a descriptor
its been universalized and thus the message has become implicit over time
i know you think right now this seems dope but i promise you give it 10 years and the idea of super minimalism will come across as corny. I understand from a graphic design perspective why this makes sense to you, but the purpose of the tag isn't for design purposes even though it's become an icon in its own right.

Seems like the minimalist movement has been running pretty strong for a while idk
F*** y'all for s***ting on OP for having an idea and drafting it to share with us. Get out of the thread and go make another thread about lil uzi vert foh with that baseless negativity you dopamine fiends
What's people obsession with having parental advisory stickers on the artwork? It always ruins the artwork and is why I always replace it with the clean version.

minimalism will always be the end point of symbology
it isnt an aesthetic

this, i dont think it looks good but the people clowning this are so f***ing lame. the usual suspects too, who love to act like they’re above the trolls of the site
op brings up important information regarding semiotics as well, something a lot of people could benefit from understanding
I don't like it, but I'm not gonna clown you OP for having an idea and simply expressing an artistic opinion.
Tbh, the alternative you showed did not look good. It looked more like a blemish, probably cuz the original is so iconic now. I honestly wouldn't want it to go since it's so iconic it would feel weird.

you shouldn’t worry about things getting out of “fashion”, there’s a point in having different art movements goin on different times, it kinda reflects where society is at that given point
the whole minimalist movement is a big example, on how people are expressing themselves in a minimal fashion to counter the clutter mess that our lives in general have become
btw i actually think there’s space for both, u could have the classic pal sticker on physical releases and the minimalistic one on streaming
