It's his victory lap. Show been done for about a year now as far as I'm concerned. S***s ran its course. The Tim Dillon ep really sold that point to me.
you would think someone that calls themself a comedian could spot someone making a joke. that one was hard to watch but tim dillon is hilarious so I powered through

What happened with Tim Dillion?

he was just being his normal sarcastic self and joe kept taking everything he was saying literally

Oh like with Theo Von
The Bridget Phetasy one is borderline unwatchable for me. Something about her rubs me the wrong way

Theo was throwing out gold and joe couldn't comprehend how he didn't actually mean half of it lol. I don't see how a comedian can't riff or be part of a joke.
this is so disappointing but i can't front, i can't act like i ever thought Joe was ever a real man of the people or anything. it fits with him. it's all about money and audience. if anything, im disappointed by Joe's friends who think this is a win. Like what is? Being absorbed by another billion dollar company over another? Both platforms are garbage.
It's good for other guys because they have options and this could set the wave for future guys to make money
YouTube is a s***ty platform that demonetized channels and videos for extremely light s*** based on an algorithm. This sucks cause I'm just gonna drop the podcast outside of huge episodes now but it might end up helping other comedians in the long run

Bro do you know the actual reason?

theres seldom only one single reason/motive for something
almost as bad as when donnell rawlings was on and he laughed at anything he said just cuz he yelled it
theres seldom only one single reason/motive for something
of course, but is that not a good enough reason on it’s own? Especially if spotify says they will give him complete freedom?
you gotta play the game to a degree, if he went off an made his own service it would crash and burn

Why do you think it would crash and burn?
cuts off any possibility of discovery
also even less people would have this hypothetical service (would be an app) then they do spotify (as zero people would have the former because it never existed beforehand), so there would be an even greater outrage especially considering the fact you would most likely have to pay a subscription for it (because they’d have to pay out of pocket to promote outside of the service if they want any new listeners to flock)
I mean s***, look at all the people freaking out about this just because they don’t have spotify
plus he should have promotion and marketing covered by spotify now as well
relistening 1k episode, what a classic
