hate that i have to replay the camapign to unlock it

So what i did was go back to the PS4 TLOU2 version on my PS5, made a new game plus and started it. Then I immediately saved the game .

Then I loaded up the Remastered, and you should be able to transfer that most recent save, which will then unlock all that s*** for you

Seattle day 2 (Abby) is such a perfect chapter probably my favorite

Seattle day 2 (Abby) is such a perfect chapter probably my favorite

In my opinion again its just me . I think those early ellie parts are genuinely unfun for me to play. Which is part of why when I first picked up I was in the longer area for a while. Like design wise I get what they were going for but less fun to play and Ellie is a miserable person to play as at beginning to an overdone level because of what they are setting up .

Its counter productive to their point though

    What ?

Sorry I am shocked this is kind of a wild decision for them to make rather than give player the option to play commentary first time if they want with or without a save file. Player choice is a problem they seem to struggle with

blockbuster sequel that took a controversial unconventional path

    happens across mediums

its like completely changing ur sound on the sophomore after going diamond on the debut

its also incredibly queer and signaled the end / swan song of the straight white male protagonist in gaming. a couple years after rdr2, probably the last great protagonist in that vein

a lotttt of ppl (well deserved hes written well) identified and loved joel. to any writers, it was the obvious choice. to gamers ? they saw it differently

Its not just directly identified with Joel but its a well constructed Father Figure in fiction. Even though again as I have said 28 days later, Man of Fire, X Men , Children of Men and so many movies are the same premise. A non parent bonds with an extremely important child destined for greatness. None of it is that "new". Its the story beats that bond them of seeing the darkness of the world. Also its in terms of gaming the biggest father figure game. TV, Film, Anime have all addressed these topics to all degrees

Same reason someone can connect with an Evangelion, Breaking Bad or so many more. Last of Us just gets applauded because its a game that dared to take itself as serious as other mediums. The controversy comes from holding the controller brings many closer than just watching a Walt White do something crazy as they cheer for him. Even then though Skylar was hated like Abby. People hate on TV characters to the point they hate on their actors and actresses and real life because they get so consumed by the fiction

Its genuinely in some ways sad lol. That is why when I was playing 2 or heard things I was never that bothered.

The cure clearly wasn't a guarantee and thats okay and the cure isnt even the focus on game 2 oddly its an afterthought til the ending. But murdering Marlene under the guise of "she will come after me " only to eventually lower your guard again is what bothered me personally. To each their own though. If they had known they may have done a sequel going into 1 keeping Marlene alive and having her be playable is kind of my dream. Brutally walking bad to murder someone you didn't need to is more disturbing than just trying to save Ellie. That is what made it a potent ending for me if we never saw them again.

I am glad the medium has lead to great discussion

TLOU1 Joel definitely wouldn't have died there but I think that's the point. Years at Jackson with Ellie softened him and made him a more empathetic guy, but that's what ultimately got him killed.

Bro lives rent free in people’s heads lmao

Like look at this s*** , wtf does this have to do with Druckmann?? Bro saw a picture of Kojima and Miller and thought “bro I bet Druckmann is so pissed right now!!!!”

  • Makaveli

    Now? Since the leak bro

Yeah but that was just gaming nerds who didn’t like his writing, now it’s like every post I see about him is criticism from people who think he’s somehow pretentious for wanting to break into TV and movies.

    Edit: ↑ stuff like that

  • Anyone who calls him Cuckman unironically need to reevaluate their life choices

the pace of game play for this game is so perfect for no return imo.

it's slow and deliberate enough that i never just want to throw away a run like i feel with some rogue likes, but fast enough i'm always down for a few runs at a time.

it helps that it has the goat stealth game play as well

  • Jan 27, 2024

also just rewatched joel and ellies last cutscene again

i need to do a proper replay

  • Jan 28, 2024

I beat my first run but man that was tough cause I ran out of ammo my cheeks was clinched running around the entire time and was hard to find a time to heal
