The strangest, most intriguing movie I’ve seen this year. Deserves a rewatch for sure but it’s up there in my top 10

I think the sexuality narrative is what sold it for the voters.

I'd say Moonlight checks all but the fourth box

Filmmaking been my dream forever, however I was always hesitant of pursuing it (because of how tough it is to get into).

This movie literally gave me the push I needed to do that (it felt like something I would have done myself, was predicting scenes as I was watching including the ending shot and they all came through).

Just started buying equipment and I’m soon going to start shooting my first short film.
