Who tf approved this s***? Musically the album is fantastic and top notch no doubt, the mastering holds it back significantly imo. It feels very chaotic listening through my headphones, which my ears bleed from the distortion and piercing noises, I'll probably lose my hearing towards the end. I just wish they remaster the album some point down the road, maybe in for the anniversary this year.

What a shame, think the only time I'll bump this entire thing is through my laptop speakers tbh

I like how the clipping/loudness makes it sound too big to be contained by a recording but it can hurt to listen to I agree lol

Yeah,the mixing and mastering on it is harsh af but over time is became one of the albums charms imo. I remember someone saying that MBDTF was originally suppose to be recorded on a boom box/ghetto blaster so....it def could’ve been worse lol.

i remember back then thinking i downloaded a bad rip or something and spent hours maybe days looking for a "good" one without any clipping and then i learned it was actually meant to sound like that

but idk i love monster the way it is

the holds the album back in many ways
