Not sure how you put the spoil thing on here so idk if I should say lmao

Last scene was brilliant.
In my view he gets his brain blown out at that moment. Now when I think about the ending we got versus an ending where they show him getting shot and maybe Carm screaming in horror .... the ending we got is so much better IMO
But I’ve gone through a lot of different opinions on the ending in the 10+ years since it aired. And that’s also part of why it’s great. I still think about it.
I would’ve loved it if the last scene was Meadow coming through the door Tony was staring at in the restaurant, but her face twists in horror as she reaches her hand out & then screen goes black.

Basically I think Gene’s brother is the guy with the Member’s Only jacket and he’s the one that kills Tony. Also the Chris saying the 3:00 things when he was in a Coma makes sense too.
bruh livia is such a f***ing horrible character
edit: maybe they made her to be easily hated - if so, they succeeded
I thought so too until my buddy sent me this write-up, which opened up Ton's relationship with his Ma for me.
WARNING HUGE SPOILERS
She's essential to Tony's admiration for his father and consequent path of mob-life.

In a similar vein, I watched the series when I was younger and it didn't click with me.
I'd say the same way a show like Twin Peaks, with all of its subtlety and nuance, takes time to develop and allow these characters to grab a hold of the viewer in multi-dimensional ways, The Sopranos does an incredible job of putting these Jersey mobsters and their families through an extended period of crime, punishment, self-ruin, etc., in ways that changes along with the viewer's perception of the separate players.
All I mean to say is; enjoy the show, take in the characters, love them, pity them, watch their development peel back layer-by-layer

IMO it should have ended with someone pulling a gun on Tony and the episode fading to black. No gunshots or screams. Still the GOAT series even if I get annoyed with the end, there’s so way to end it and make everyone happy.
He was gay, Gary Cooper?
I just watched that episode last night. probably my favorite of the season. I love when they focus on real world stuff - dedicating entire episode to Columbus was top notch. I think so many shows do the same afterwards too - not being afraid to just do a complete 1 off episode devoted to some real word topic, and ultimately gives more insight into characters. we didnt even know that much about sil till this episode halfway into the show.
Season 4 episode 8 'Mergers and Acquistions'
What a hit.
It has a:
My favourite Sopranos sequence
Chrissy’s Vince McMahon walk
“Vito Spattafore is an ass muncher!”
Paulie’s “Ho!”
“Let’s take this in the back” “yeah that’s what Vito did”
Chrissy’s stupid suggestion, “what we gotta do Tone, see him take in the ass?”
“Maybe you’re a flambé”
“I never said it but I knew” lmfaoo
“AIDS!”
Man I pray to God I don't end up like Artie
Randomly thought about this scene earlier and got second hand embarrassment
out of all the first episodes.... season 6 was my favorite. rare for a show to do that on its final season.
the double fake with the guy trying to move to Florida and turns out not only T saying no but FBI. the informant deaths. carm getting that woat feeling after her bud was able to buy something on her own. and of course the ending - queuing the dream sequence. masterclass
Watched it the first time, loved it. Watching it a second time, & I feel like I’m enjoying it even more because I feel like I can keep track of what’s going on easier, therefore observing more in depth.
If that makes sense?
