He called her and apologized. His team put out a bunch of fake stories about her. He kept antagonize her on social media. And ultimately he didn't take the plea deal.

Regardless of who did what, Tory is in jail because his lawyers were ineffective. The prosecution's case was weak, but his defense team couldn't create enough reasonable doubt in the jury's minds.

If Kelsey actually retrieved the gun from the car and Tory fought her for it, logic suggests she might have been attempting to fire it. Kelsey is lucky she didn't kill Meg or Tory. Meg is fortunate that Tory intervened and tried to take the gun. Tory made a foolish mistake by getting into the car and telling one woman that he was sleeping with the other. If he discharged then gun by accident and sharpenl wounded Meg then he's also fortunate he didn't kill her.
