I’m not black and never claimed to be at any point during this thread

All you had to do was say no. I didnt say anything to prompt you to respond in a defensive way but thats why this album isnt a classic to you and some of the songs are below avg in your opinion cause while you may relate and understand some of it it dont hit the same for you as it would a black person and its nothing wrong with that but you cant say its not a classic because of that. Even the weakest song (king kunta) still goes cause its surrounded by masterpiece level work.

GKMC is black teens being ignorant doing nigga s***. Of course you like to see that. Shows no growth

TPAB is the realization of systemic racism and serves as a trampoline for liberation. Of course you don’t like it as much

White people love the fun black s*** that doesn’t fix anything

They hate the serious black s*** that liberates black ppl

No one is talking about hating it, i talked about some of the songs being amazing. Why are you taking this so personally

Yupppp. They'll eat up 6ix9ine's gun talk music all day, but are quick to s*** on an artist speaking on the black experience. I see the word "fake deep" thrown around way too often from non-black people

    It’s not personal at all

You’re just biased because every song on TPAB is better than

Swimming pools, Real and Compton. But that’s a classic

Calling me a c***and bringing up a drake avi is personal. It’s cool tho i don’t really mind. Again i think more than those songs are great on GKMC, but not necessarily the ones you mentioned.

You don’t determine classics. TPAB is a classic. That’s. It even debatable. Go debate Tale Care and those other forced classics.

Kendrick has to irrefutable classic albums that no sane human being should be comfortable debating. And he has two other with time will be looked at as classics.

Nah wasn’t getting defensive lol just making that was clear. But yeah this is an amazing point as pointed out by someone else in this thread. I might not be able to resonate with some of the deeper level songs on black emotion etc.

Literally no one has discussed or debated op, just stupid responses. Why KTT2 will always be a joke

Classic album in music, it shouldn’t be boxed within hip hop I sincerely believe. Compare it to 70’s politically motivated soul/jazz and it fits into spot more comfortably amongst the upper echelon of creativity and direction.
As an art piece it’s superb.
    We done.

Man how many times do we have to tell yall niggas this. Kendrick doesnt lose when it comes to solo albums.

Tpab is a certified classic bro. theres no discussion to have, cause it is obvious at this point. Idk why yall wanna downplay the importance of this album so much. Its suspect fr
