Looks like they're expanding on Marchen Garten from Kuro 2. Works for me because it was very fun to play through. Saw they're adding lore to it as well (similar to the Sky doors, I think), which is really cool. I'm sure there's gonna be some wacky s*** in there lol.

Wonder if it's gonna be a worldwide release considering it showed up at both the English and Japanese Directs Pretty sure either NISA, Falcom, or both, said they wanted to speed up releases in the west.

That's what I thought but considering that the trailer in the west didn't have any english TL I kidna doubt it. Guess we will now if NISA tweets about it or not

Okay so it looks like I'm wrong, RPGSite was sent english screenshots and its based on XSEED so it does looks like it might be a simultaneous release unless they decide to add english voice acting

Everyone's S-Crafts looks so damn good they really went all out with this game, the party compositions are so interesting too with Rean and Kevin; this might actually top Reverie gameplay wise. Also Kevin looks so f***ing cool in this game they did him justice after him not being seen since Azure

Agreed. They snapped with everything they've shown off so far. Rean's new S-Craft might top Breaking Dawn. Saw some gameplay of Kevin using his stigma in the field battles too

Part of me was telling myself to wait until the CN/KR Steam release and hope some 4chan anons translate some stuff, but after seeing all this new stuff today, I will be there day one with an OCR translating tool and Remote Play

Kai has been incredible so far

Falcom definitely went all out with it. Best gameplay and music in the series for sure. No idea how this story is gonna end, but I'm fiending for answers. Going to kill someone if it's another CS3 ending and based on a screenshot of the final credits I saw on my tl, think that might be the case :hankserious:

From the demos I played I think this had better combat than Metaphor

Glad you enjoying it, honestly surprised I haven't been spoiled on anything about this game yet. If it was as contreversial as Kuro II I think I would have heard something by now so I guess thats good

Its funny because when reviews about Daybreak came out a lot of people were saying that the action combat was undercooked but in Metaphor it felt even worse.

Still going to play Metaphor day 1 but my hype died a bit when I found out how much of its foundation is built off Persona as news started coming out

Saw a couple people saying the ending is gonna piss some people off. Dunno how accurate that is though. Also saw that this is the game you don’t wanna be spoiled on lol.

I'll probably have this finished up at some point tomorrow so I'll see for myself. Definitely don't see anything as egregious as Kuro 2, but I'm sure people will come up with something to get mad about lol (as they tend to do with this series).
