Guessing you're on PS? Durante said they were aware of it during the QA process, so they're just waiting on a fix. Little bit ridiculous it released the way it did, but unless you're playing on Abyss, it really won't be a huge issue.

There is 1 attack that bypasses Altinas order that is scary asf, no matter what Def I have up it always puts me to 8 hp, once I realised it wouldn't actually kill me the fight was less scary

This game definitely makes you think more when it comes to some of these fights. Don't even wanna think about it on Abyss though It's nice too because you can always just grind for more stuff in the Reverie Corridor and it's not really boring or a waste of time. Can't wait to get further into the game so I can really get to grinding it out. Gotta get all my favorites geared up

The reverie corridor is such an amazing addition to the game, I can tell I’m gonna spend hours here while forgetting the main quest exists. Also feel like this game is a lot more balanced than the previous entries (minus Lloyds burning heart skill) so I have been having a lot of fun just figuring out these boss fights.

The insane roster adds a lot of replay value too since you can just spend hours experimenting, honestly the turn based combat system in these games is just elite and having a location where you can showcase the combat system is just perfect

Yea I’m on PS. S*** is crazy tho like the fix is literally right there and people on Pc can just fix it themselves in 2 minutes.

Hopefully it’s patched this week. There’s no way it’s that difficult if it’s fixed with a simple file replacement.

If I had to guess, any delay would be because a patch would have to be approved by Sony, Nintendo, and Valve. (At least, I think that's how it works )

It'd also be nice to see some minor typos get fixed. I haven't really noticed any in character dialogue, but some of the arts, crafts, orders, and some consumable descriptions are off. I believe the game adds a 0 to whatever you fish up, so instead of it showing you got 1 U-Material or something, it shows 10 lol.

And it only gets better as you progress It's definitely the most fun game of the series with how many options you have.

What're your thoughts on the routes/story so far?

Not much has happened so I don't have any real thoughts yet (On act 2 and I have only done Lloyd and Rean routes up to the Reverie Corridor), mostly been reuniting with party members, interactions with the party members have been cool tho.

I especially liked Rean and Claires interaction in the springs since I think those two characters have a lot in common with how they despise themselves, I like that Claire is the one to realise that Rean wasn't happy with himself and approached him about it since she is like the exact same. Also really like the Lloyd/Rixia/Lechter trio since I feel like its a call back to the Mansion party raid in Zero lol

Only moments so far in the game that make me roll my eyes is when they bring up the curse stuff or when NPCs are 'brainwashed' (they need to stop using this), that whole situation has already been dealt with in CS4 but sometimes when an NPC doesn't agree with the main party (rooftop scene in prologue) the party members will then say things like "Oh wow, I can't believe you would think like that, MUST be a lingering effect of the curse" which is just wild to me

Fortunately, while the curse thing is like *there*, it's not a huge focus in the grand scheme (I legit forgot it was a plot point until I watched the reviews), but yeah, agreed. All I'll say is Falcom REALLY loves putting brainwashing and dancing in these games. I am especially tired of the dancing s\*\*\*.

@wes did you beat a certain boss fight within 40 turns on Lloyds route? I retried the fight after I first beat it, got 43 turns then just decided to move on

I did. Making sure I hit all the RP requirements (even though getting the highest level is crazy lenient; think you can miss up to 100 RP?). Had to go back into the Reverie Corridor to and farm a bit. I keep forgetting to upgrade my orbment slots to put in the UR quartz since those give some massive stat boosts. Was pretty easy after that. That fight is a b**** though

There are a handful of fights that I'm waiting to see you make a post about because they can be ROUGH I'm about to do one of em rn and I'm curious to see how it's gonna go lol.

Finally doing the C route and I love this cast so much man

This is one of my friends first time playing on Nightmare on anything besides NG+. I think before he just tossed it on the easiest difficulty and spammed X the entire way through, so it's funny watching him get his ass beat in this game

C's group is so good man Need an entire game with just them. Also just straight up need more C in general

Idk when this happened but I'm realising that I like Rean a lot more than Lloyd.

Bro just wait But yeah, Rean definitely became my favorite after hitting Divine Blade status in CS4\. Solidified that with what happens in Reverie. Though he's got some competition with Van. I do love Lloyd since he's just a really likeable character, but I don't think there's that much to him (Crossbell, getting over barriers, and finding who killed his brother kinda sums it all up and at this point, it's just about Crossbell lol).

Where are you at in game rn?

Yeah I feel the exact same way about Lloyd right now, cool guy but there isn't that much going on with his character other than his loyalty to Crossbell, I found it really funny that the intro of the game was Crossbell being f\*\*\*ed over again

Rean on the other hand has a lot going on with his character

I'm currently on Act III, Just did the first part of Rufus' route - which I f\*\*\*ing loved, I already loved his party but Renne getting added to it is f\*\*\*ing crazy, Renne and Nadia have such a cool dynamic too, im l'm in love with this lmao. Really loved Rufus and Lapis scene on Jingos airship (I love Jingo too).

Also did Lloyds intro route, not much happened in it so far other than getting reunited with Tio and Tita/Agate.

Just started Reans route, going back to Nord (which is probably my least favourite location in the series) Seeing Emma and Sara was cool tho so I forgive them for sending me here

When I made my post after finishing the game, I mentioned that the Lloyd route was kinda the same stuff was before so while I did really enjoy it, Rean's and C's routes are just much better (though it does get quite good, the section you just finished up was the low point so I get it). I actually do find it more enjoyable this time around for whatever reason.

Was hoping you'd mention the convo between Rufus and Lapis. Such a good scene man.

Did you have any problems fighting Class 7 with Rufus' group? I got my ass handed to me. My first attempt ended with this

As for Nord, you ain't wrong about it being the least favorite location, but I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Yeah that scene with Lapis and Rufus was incredibly good, I wasn't expecting that from Rufus and I actually didn't have too much trouble with that boss fight, not sure how but I managed to skip everyones S craft and just nuke them down, I think I made good use of Crescent Moon like I always do

Unless you want to buy the game twice I don't think that's happening. What I seen people doing though is buying the game on PS5, remote playing it through the PC and then using an overlay to read the text
