Crazy to think back to the hype we had on KTT1 for Rodeo and now the Utopia thread is barely moving
Like I said in the album thread
If this sucks he’s finished
If it’s good, he’s back
He’s a piece of s*** anyway

Yall dont get how big travis is lmao. If this is trash people gonna be back to listen next album
it’s all good. Y’all all come around once them tour videos start dropping again. Nigga didn’t fall off, what a dumb take.
The worst Travis gets the more popularity he gains, truly one of the worst big artists to do it
I'd take Flo Rida over Travis
People say AstroFest tragedy caused the huge delay in his output, but let's be real here, this guy was already three years in without dropping an album by the time the tragedy happened. Astroworld was cool but it wasn't "Blonde" or even "DAMN". It really hasn't aged well and is crammed with filler. One of the worst engineered mainstream albums ever made to boot. The idea that he felt he could rest on his laurels after that album is hilarious to me. It's Fortnite music
At this point, the buzz from Astroworld is gone, the few loosies he put out afterwards all sucked, his features blow, he doesn't even co-produce anymore, and he is consistently the weakest part of anything he is involved with. This literally happened after two years lol. Absolutely baffling how far and fast this guy fell. 2018-2019 he had it on lock and then by 2021 he basically lost it all.
Utopia is definitely going to be ass too and will underperform commercially.
Troll?
Or new fan??
It’s absolutely 1 of the 2…
Pick whichever you like!
it’s true that his features in recent years absolutely reek but that’s more to do with his individual talent I suppose, his strength is curating his own music, if you liked his other albums, there’s a good chance you’ll rock with whatever this next one is…his ceiling isn’t that for the fall off to be that drastic
These exact threads were being made before astroworld too can’t wait to go back and laugh at this idiocy

Barely happened with Uzi tho tbh, his new one streamed almost half EA, which outstreamed Astroworld
feel like these musicians career are more on a knife edge than people realise

I feel like white people and a few Kylie Jenner fans are hanging on by a thread. Wouldn’t be surprised if every song has a feature.
I saw other folks mentioning him performing at the pyramids like it somehow equates to his music status but while it’s a cool event idea that has nothing to do with the quality of art he produces.
Lets be real he has always been pretty mid he just made good nonsense mudic but we have Playboi Carti who I think did a good job replacing and absorbing the void of Travis.
Maybe a Kanye / Drake feature could save him.
Yall dont get how big travis is lmao. If this is trash people gonna be back to listen next album
He's not Drake bro
What about a majority of Kanye’s lyrics? Minus Gorgeous what other Kanye verse on MBDTF is interesting? Or even really that good?
I’m not really getting the diet cruel summer thing considering Travis helped work on and was featured on cruel summer
I’m taking the TI narration over all the dumbass skits on Kanye’s first 2 albums. And I’d definitely take TI talking for 15 seconds over Chris Rocks 25 minute part on Blame Game lmao
I’m also not a big fan of the Weeknd track and it’s probably my least favorite on the album but a lot of people love that song. Imo there is no album with zero skips. You can’t please everyone with every track
"What about a majority of Kanye’s lyrics? Minus Gorgeous what other Kanye verse on MBDTF is interesting? Or even really that good?"
Cmon bro lol

devil in a new dress lost in the world dark fantasy monster runaway etc etc
edit: my bad i didn’t know that was a quote from that horrendous post you quoted
Utopia isn’t make or break but it def needs to be a great album for him to remain this popular, too long of a wait for it to be decent
I thought op was just gonna hate for the astroworld tragedy but op brought in fair arguments
I agree. His music was becoming stale at least since Birds in the trap. Would like to be proven wrong but for now it seems like his creativity with music is all gone and he stuck with this safe trap sound or occasional semi-recycling of his own old tricks.
It's sad. Cause he seems like the guy who got "feel" for music - what works and what not, like with Nothing But Net for example, (which sound crazy to this day btw)

you got nothing better to do than posting clickbait en venting ?
Keep yo sh yo sh
The problem wasn’t that, he had a thousand shows with the same behaviour and no bodies.
LiveNation staff and security let too many people in, including failing to stop thousands of people without tickets from rushing the festival perimeters and creating a massive crush that killed those people. All of that is undeniable, it’s all been verified. It was never on Trav to do Live Nation’s job and stop the festival on the orders of the fire Marshall when it became clear early on there were too many people there.
Uhhh people were constantly getting hurt at all of his shows.
I know the kid that got paralyzed at his show, that happened because he instructed his security to pick up a injured person like a rag doll.
Scumbag, he deserves every once of the blame.
He's literally playing at the f***ing Great Pyramids of Giza
How did he fall off
The look and marketing works on people like you lol
