Why?

I disagree. Trump would destroy him and would make it so his presidential ambitions are wiped off the map. If I were DeSantis I would just sit out if Trump is running and wait four more years. Even if he manages to beat Trump in the primaries (And he won't), he will be so damaged that he would never win in a general election.

If there’s enough in the GOP that are done with Trump, he could be neutralized. His reputation took a s*** this election tbh.
