thinking of getting it, I can get it for free through my work points
It’s fire I have the 32bg one and I have everything in one spot.
Netflix, HBO Max, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, Paramount+, Disney+, my own Apple TV library with my digital codes from movies, my Apple music, YouTube, Spotify, VUDU (thru fandango cause it has some of my digitals codes that couldn’t make it to my Apple TV library for some stupid reason)
Well worth it imo and you can screenshare from an iPhone, iPad, Mac etc easily, plus no ads the UI is clean and simple once you get used to it.
Thank you
No probs famo... I've the LG C1 (2021 version) so I am good until the LG C4 or something though or I might get a Sony or Samsung QD-OLED TV by 2025-2028.
But I am happy to finally have an OLED TV which you do or will do soon too so lemme know when you do get it and what you think about it

Man today and yesterday was a mess💀
I placed the order early in the morning yesterday they said they had it at the location. Like 30-60 minutes later I get an email saying they have no stock. So I was like aite whatever but then today I was able to change locations so I had to drive 40min out of the way to get it today.
I got it in the box now gonna set it up within the next half hour i’m hype
TV is fire played some Xbox on it today it’s so nice gonna watch a show or movie tomorrow or Wednesday

Sounds like you're enjoying it so far... Good to hear!
I'm already looking forward to my next TV which I hope to be from LG again or from Sony or Samsung but it has to be a QD-OLED one and possibly it been 8K instead of 4K or well what's out by the time I do get one. I just hope the prices by then are at least normal again
But yeah good to hear that your first impressions of the LG C2 are good

Yeah you’re right LG, Sony, Samsung would be the brands to go with. It’s dope so far glad i’m set with a TV for a while now 😂

Yeah it's a decent TV if you're new to the whole OLED stuff... But in a couple of years so will you be blowing away by QD-OLED TV's or what they choose to call them by then as the first impressions of the 2022 ones do sound good so far but yeah not for me so far as the prices for them are too much even for a 55" QD-OLED TV. It's $3500 so far... So yeah let's hope the prices for those kind of TV's will be less by 2024-2027

Holy hell lol that’s wild yeah it sound promising just from you describing it i’m hype

Yeah it's kind of like when OLED became affordable enough to get but still expensive but the technology was very impressive and noticeable so everybody couldn't wait for the prices of them to go down so they could get their hands on one which I imagine was probably around 2019-2020. But believe me QD-OLED's and especially the one from Sony is so far the one to get if you want something good both for movies and gaming... Samsung is good too but the good impressions and positive reviews do favor the Sony QD-OLED TV as it's the most color etc. accurate out of the box and is brighter than the Samsung one.
But nah man you're good with the one you got as it's better than the LG C1 for sure. I just advice you to take good care of it as it's not as safe as the QD-OLED TV's which is one of the advantages the QD-OLED's got on the OLED TV's but the OLED TV's are still better than the LED and even mini-LED's.
Anyway you're good until 2024 or even 2027 I would say. And I would say me as well but I'll keep my eye on something that's worth it and isn't too expensive and then so will I finally get a new one that will take over my current TV lol... So yeah let's enjoy what we got now famo

You know your TV’s really well 🔥
It will be interesting to see where they go like you mentioned with the QD-OLED’s. For now i’m glad I was able to get what I have i’m sure you feel the same way. I’m gonna make sure it lasts for a while without a doubt.

Yeah man I am really into this kind of stuff so TV's is one of them plus other technology related things as well
Exactly man. Even though I do check out every TV that gets revealed every year so am I good with the LG C1 (2021 version) that I got and will keep using it until the prices are right and it makes sense to finally upgrade to something better

LG tvs run WebOS
a much more snappy and lightweight OS
Android TV works great on high end hardware (Sony & Nvidia) issue is they put it in TVs with cheap SOCs and then it runs like trash
WebOS runs great even on LGs cheap TVs though, my favorite TV OS personally
Samsung TVs don’t run Android but yeah the Samsung TV OS is awful even on expensive TVs it’s a clusterfuck

Exactly
Samsung needs to do a better job for sure... Other than that so is their High-End TV's nice though!
How long have you had it for and how’s the experience been with it so far?
Like 2 months? It's so fire....im coming from a full hd Samsung TV
Currently playing Ghost of Tsushima on it it's beautiful
Watched The Dark Knight on it a couple days ago and the experience is on another level
I've got an Nvidia shield too so can handle 4k + Dolby perfectly

Niiiiice 🔥🔥
@op how’s the c2?
Recently ran into a ton of money and thinking of getting a 65 inch c2 to upgrade from my q60r (mid tier 2018 Samsung tv)
Kinda concerned about burn in but like warranties only go up to 5 years and tbh I feel burn in would come in after 5 (like pushing 6) years so not worth the warranty

It is fire my bro is so jealous of it 😂😂
I’m not worried about burn in a ton personally cause the tech now can limit/prevent it way better than before. Plus I never leave it on a screen anyways so that obviously helps. The picture is amazing and if you game it is fire as well the 120hz is literally so clutch.
I think you'll like it but obviously you can do your own research on it if you are skeptical. I personally didn’t get the warranty for it I think i’ll be fine I take care of all my stuff good anyways so.

Word
Enough for me. Always wanted an Oled tv. Pulling the trigger. Will have it delivered for Saturday… not sure my car would fit the tv if I picked it up lol

Yeah I had to borrow a truck from somebody I know I didn’t feel like taking the risk of it not fitting. I got a 55” the box honestly wasn’t as huge as I thought it would be but 65” is different of course. Delivered is the way to go i’d say in that case I pray it arrives safely for you.

I've used my C9 for 3 years on pretty high brightness as a computer monitor, trying to get burn in honestly and have only gotten a tiny bit of panel discoloration on light grey totally unnoticeable under any normal use or other colors
a computer monitor should be the hardest also since there are elements in one place for hours but it definitely does a lot of stuff to mitigate it all day
yeah I agree burn in worries really go back to the early days of OLED and Plasma panels and is massively overblown today
