trust me, ain’t no lull if you f*** with the characters. the problem people have with a lot of s2 is it’s a lot of non-sequitur stuff completely disconnected from the main plot, but just like any other show with that kind of filler, it’s still very enjoyable as long as you’re immersed in the world.

almost done with season 2
and yeah there were def some useless plotlines in the middle of season 2 :
the james going astray plot was woat and hard to get through, the d*** and andy triangle thing with lucy dragged on for too long as well plus the ben horne psychosis s*** was also rather unnecessary..

but i was prepared for that anyways...

currently at the windom earle, owl cave plot.
seeing lynch again you instanly felt the quality of the episode improve drastically...
the cooper and annie romance is very sweet thing to watch, they seem like a good match.
also loved that shelly and gordon cole pair up and how he only understands her and nobody else perfectly without having to shout

also audrey lord there's something special about her i can't quite place it

and yeah i'm gonna finish the season probably tomorrow, then i'm gonna watch the FWWM movie and start S3 right after

Yea if you're prepared for the major difference in tone that season 2 brings it's much easier to digest. I also thought the Bobby and Shelly subplot was dragging. As much as I liked seeing Shelly on screen haha.

Cooper and Annie's relationship was one of the best moments of season 2 and the series tbh.

There's a literal 25 years gap between season 2 and 3, so things might change super fast and break your attention. I wouldn't start right away maybe wait a week if you want to keep the pace, or even longer if you can hold out.

Diane... you'll meet her. 🙈

This is the exact moment Audrey became my fav character

After the episode "Variations on Relations" you start to see the season' true intentions, as things get more mysterious.

Major Briggs, is a critical piece to the mystery that beholds the town. Pay attention to him I only connected the dots later.

i loved that scene as well, sad they didn't continue with that plot line...
read it had something to do with some bts jealousy on lara flynns part who dated him in real life back then and didn't want that part of the story to continue...

i just finished that episode you speak of.
and major briggs is really a great character seems like he has his heart in the right place
theres def something up with that black and white lodge stuff

yeah I'm already at the miss twin peaks part of the show.

and yea that bobby and shelly plot dragged a bit but i enjoyed the beginning stages of it when they had to take care of leon (well at least shelly did )

yea i'm gonna take a week off after i watch the movie, I'm gonna spend Christmas at my grandmas ,gonna be there for more than a week, so when I'm back early January I'm gonna continue with the show on s3.

everything seemed kinda normal until cooper entered the black lodge then i was just super confused to what was going on

thought leland was gonna start dancing again for a minute
also laura saying "i'll seey you in 25 years" and thats exactly when the return came out

lmfao then there are 2 coopers, assuming thats the doppelganger i saw everbody talk about... he seemed extremly different when he woke up again in the hotel and that last scene in the bathroom seeing bob had me just like

the "how's annie, how's annie" had me confused, made me laugh but also had me was such a strange mix of emotions that i felt for this scene...

s*** now i'm gonna probably watch the movie tomorrow, then take like a week off and start season 3

Yupp things take a dark twist very quickly in the late episodes of season 2. It's unreal he literally waited 25 years between the seasons. Some actors died during that idle moment and couldn't make it back, the story was written well around those deaths though.

The 2 Coopers will be the main focus in The Return. Just wait til you meet Mr. Jackpots 😅

One thing I love about the third season is how involved Lynch was with everything. Bob's last scene in Cooper's bathroom had me shook, imagine the people who had no choice but to wait out the whole two and a half decades to find out what happened...

After the film watch that video I posted for more Bowie footage, there are bits taken out and only shown in the Missing Pieces dvd.

Good idea to pause a week, makes the transition less jarring. 25 years is a mighty long time after all. Can relate to the mixed emotions at the bathroom scene. A mix of confusion, laughing and being shook all in a very short time span. That finale was wild, always wanted to see more of the black lodge so I was glad. Enjoy the movie tomorrow, another wild ride.

yea bruh that bathroom scene just had me in a weird state...
didn't know how to feel, i kinda laughed at first but it was a disturbed laugh, like cooper in the black lodge with bob, that kinda laugh

excited for the movie
2hours long tho
happy to see leland again

and on sunday/monday we gonna have another 2 hour movie from sam
