Talked to the landlord and they were trying to kick us out of the house. I had to beg until they said I have 30 days to move out of the house. They’re charging an extra 75 per week for my girl to stay with me, we aren’t allowed to use the garage, and they’re just being a******s now. Been moving non stop and was gonna chill here until October/November when the lease was up but they’re making us move out early

Prob racist bc my girl black n they just want us out. I’m staying here with my cousin and they had a black roommate before we moved in and she moved out because she felt “uncomfortable”, the couple before them was a gay couple and they did the same. So the people upstairs just hate anyone that isn’t white or straight. They have to be paying a s*** ton of money because the landlord always picks them over the tenants below, or the landlords are just racist as well.

I was going to say you should seek out some tenant advocacy groups to see if you can at least not lose out on the extra 300 but I saw what you said about not wanting to give this anymore energy and understand that completely

Yeah it’s a s***ty situation but it’s somewhere to stay I guess so trying to be grateful for that.

Lived in my car for 3 months last year and I can’t do that s*** again, especially in the winter. So just actively looking for new places over here

I’ve been trying to look for places but the market is f***ing insane and everything is expensive and gone in a few days.

I start my last semester in college on Monday and my job is a couple miles up the road and ride my bike everyday bc I sold my car

If I can’t find a place over here I’m prob going to move in with my parents that live an hour away and have to quit my job and probably drop out of college until I get a new car

Abruptly losing my housing in one of the hardest places to get housing at literally the worst possible time in terms of availability almost had me homeless about 11 months ago which would have killed me due to my current health issues so I feel you on this heavy
