I kind of blacked out when it happened but I think I landed on my feet bc I just remember standing in front of the Amazon truck and seen my bike in the lane next to me with a car swerving out of the way to not hit it. Driver said it was his bad he didn’t see me and I just said it was cool and hopped on my bike and tried to ride it off

That part f***ed me up mentally for a second because if that car was 50ft ahead I would’ve got hit twice by that car and that would’ve prob killed me or done serious damages

I’m alright tho, already took my arm out of the sling they told me to wear for a few weeks as it’s just bruised up pretty bad

Talked to the landlord and they were trying to kick us out of the house. I had to beg until they said I have 30 days to move out of the house. They’re charging an extra 75 per week for my girl to stay with me, we aren’t allowed to use the garage, and they’re just being a******s now. Been moving non stop and was gonna chill here until October/November when the lease was up but they’re making us move out early

Prob racist bc my girl black n they just want us out. I’m staying here with my cousin and they had a black roommate before we moved in and she moved out because she felt “uncomfortable”, the couple before them was a gay couple and they did the same. So the people upstairs just hate anyone that isn’t white or straight. They have to be paying a s*** ton of money because the landlord always picks them over the tenants below, or the landlords are just racist as well.

I lived in a nice area in cleveland after that we’ve been staying at my cousins for 3 months in a neighbor city that is really up-coming and popular and I work in that same city. Need to stay close as I go to school downtown and work in this city and don’t have a car. Used Facebook and a bunch of apartment websites to get info on apartments but no one answers emails or calls

I'm alright for now but have some serious life threatening issues coming up if I can't figure em out but I got a few months and this isn't anywhere as bad as it was same time last year

So when I was looking for housing, it was me and a homie of mine going through listings daily for almost four months through all the usual sites (take out marketplace for craigslist though)

Halfway through the process my care coordinator put me into some automated service that went through listings daily but it wasn't the best, regularly got parking spaces as listings

And where I'm at housing goes in less than a day, if not hours sometimes

The only successes I'd have including my eventual apartment that I'm staying at rn is via direct contact with real estate agents and companies

So I'd say add craiglist to your search if that isn't part of your site rotation and much more importantly, try to find some real estate companies and agents you can talk to directly, I don't know what it's like where you're at but here you can just look a bunch of em up via a quick search

They'll know property in your area that you don't and a lot of them have listings that they kind of keep to themselves

Have the privilege to fall back on my parents which is nice but don’t really like staying with them. Might have to use Craigslist tbh but idk if that’s sketchy Lmao
