mgs2 literally exposed everything 20 years early memes, AI, algorithms, attention spans all that s*** in a 2001 game
Bro posted the YouTube link before saying it's on @Youtube He such a dumbass fr
This nigga can't be fr
Hope this this AI s*** will make Drake step away from the ‘trap’ sound for a while and do more unique s*** like HNVM. Like I only see these AI songs with these basic ass OZ type beats, not one sounds like something from Take Care NWTS or HN
Meek went from dissing Drake for rapping lyrics he didn’t write to publicly sharing a Drake song that he didn’t write OR rap, the character development is crazy
lmao
I don't know about the full length and breadth of the legalities around this, but to any mod who reads this, y'all should stop letting AI threads in this section remain open. UMG is out here sending DCMAs and taking down AI songs. It's one thing to rip a song released/played by the artist themselves or their team unofficially and sharing a link but it's another thing actively allowing content that you know wasn't actually made by that artist (in this case, Drake) to fly here, especially knowing how he feels about it. Just a thought.
Wow lol

There are no laws around it yet, that's the thing lol
It's an AI song because without that filter (which is powered by an AI trained to mimick Drake's vocals using dozens of actual Drake songs), no one would care about the songs. You can't erase the part AI plays in all of this. You don't achieve that level of mimicry of Drake's vocals without AI so yes, it's an AI song.
an AI song would be written by AI, vocals completely synthesized by AI, and produced by AI
this is just a generic song that someone applied a voice filter (created using AI) on to make it sound like other people sang it
I am team AI
I want every song in history able to be AI deep faked by an artist's voice of my choosing at the click of a button
Damn, you don’t understand that this is a mimic voice. There’s a human behind that flow and beats, not saying that in the future all of that will be automated. But that’s such a generic and inauthentic way to live. To allow literal creations, artificially made art, to move you, really means you’re not looking forward and only looking in the past.

You're completely ignoring the fact the voice filter is made perfect off copyrighted material lol
“21 my brother i love him that's my slatt” Sounds exactly like a drake bar lol
He’s never said that tho, it is a corny thing to say. There’s no charm behind the words, not saying drake hasn’t said some corny things but at least they’re original and have charisma behind them.
This doesnt
this song is irrationally pissing me off
sounds like nothing either drake or the weeknd would write
corny ass lyrics about selena and "21 my brother i love him that's my slatt"
beat is terrible
and tech bros/AI nerds acting like its the most revolutionary thing ever
just all round bad stuff
White people continuing to try to ruin rap music
same exact s*** happened to musical instruments 20yrs ago and everyone on here is obsessed with it
now it's happening with vocals and everyone's losing their minds, love it
Maybe because they’re copying actual people? And live instruments from actual players still sound better than digitally created ones.
You can’t just copy another humans voice and face for clout. Maybe if someone used your voice and tried to be you, you’d feel differently. At some point it’s identity theft

Yo fr. I remember playing that game with my brother in 05. The last level scared me and was ingrained in my brain. Such a great game and commentary on the world.
To me that’s another form of art that can’t be replaced by a.i., the technology can’t predict the movement of the future because humans evolve and adapt, nothing is exactly the same as yesterday. So original ideas and intricate thoughts can not be created because technology only has a database on the past, not the future.
You're completely ignoring the fact the voice filter is made perfect off copyrighted material lol
i’m not looking at this from a copyright POV
AI was used, but that doesn’t make this AI music because a human still recorded and produced it (human probably wrote it too)
UMG’s success has been, in part, due to embracing new technology and putting it to work for our artists–as we have been doing with our own innovation around AI for some time already. With that said, however, the training of generative AI using our artists’ music (which represents both a breach of our agreements and a violation of copyright law) as well as the availability of infringing content created with generative AI on DSPs, begs the question as to which side of history all stakeholders in the music ecosystem want to be on: the side of artists, fans and human creative expression, or on the side of deep fakes, fraud and denying artists their due compensation.
These instances demonstrate why platforms have a fundamental legal and ethical responsibility to prevent the use of their services in ways that harm artists. We’re encouraged by the engagement of our platform partners on these issues–as they recognize they need to be part of the solution.
Ai here to stay why you think artists are selling their catalogs and some artists are being low key/ bout to retire. This physical musician sht bout to be played out

Why do you keep ignoring that the AI model which was trained mimic Drake's voice was able to do so using dozens of copyrighted Drake songs? How can you act like that doesn't matter? Your argument is "well, a robot didn't write the lyrics and record the vocals so it doesn't matter" and that's a very lazy argument.
Bottomline, without the AI tech, these songs don't exist. It isn't as simple as them using a voice filter. The AI tech is what makes these songs sound as close to Drake songs as possible.
