It's only beneficial if you're receiving information from a credible source though. Slapping a label onto a group of symptoms that you saw on a video made by someone who has no background in the medical field isn't helpful. That is a large reason why these terms get thrown around so heavily nowadays, you can argue that mental health being less stigmatized is overall a positive thing, and right, it is a good thing. However there's also issues arising with it being such a common thing discussed and out there in the open. Agreed with you about saying that the kids now aren't alright though, something is going on with all of these contributing factors.

I know there’s the algorithm; I’m not speaking on my own experience of TikTok as mines just full of gym, gaming and travel, im referring to indirect experiences of viewing videos I’ve seen posted on Twitter and stuff.
