Not really.

Most missions are randomly generated levels depending on what planet and against what enemies you fight.

They have 3 „open worlds“ but those are just big maps where you do missions basically.

Altho if you are wondering about repetition then yeah the game is very repetitive. You will do the same mission types over and over.

The strong point of warframe lies in your arsenal the tons of fun weapons and the huge amount of classes who can all be played and adjusted in an infinite amount of ways.

No I havent played it sorry.

But yeah warframe does have some pretty decent shooting but also a cool melee system. And the different classes do quite a bit of magic. Its all about how you wanna play the game and costumize your builds essentially

There is PvP but it's kinda a joke. No one really plays it except to get some of the cosmetic rewards.

Half the game's in a good state and the other half's an incredibly annoying grind. F***ing focus farm, eidolons, and liches.

At least they fixed Railjack to be pretty accessible and fun imo.

Can’t wait for cross-save functionality put in STUPID hours to my Switch profile with a maxxed out Umbra & everything.

problem is with eidolons some people got way too good at it and I would feel bad taking this from them. Same with focus. Kinda ruins those systems for me. I think I beat those 3 eidolons just once since the fight is actually very gear heavy.

However I think railjack and nechramecs are insanely fun actually. And the grind is actually very short and satisfying.

If you ask me those systems are all fine just give me the new post new war faction actually.

I thought it was briliant. However the Drifter and Lotus need some function. Not grind heavy but gameplay changing

The problem with Eidolons is that Operators SUCK. I hate using operators and hate grinding focus. It's just insanely tedious.

The Eidolon fights are cool. But if they want me to invest in my Operator, they need to actually make them worthwhile in other pieces of content. And make focus easier to grind in regular play instead of solely farming Eidolons, or even worse, doing ESO.

Railjack and Necramechs are great and their grinds are perfect imo. Once they allow Necramechs in regular missions, they'll finally remove a lot of content islands.

Also I haven't played New War yet, but I saw in a Reddit comment that they should change Invasion alerts to be that you can actually play as a Grineer soldier/Corpus crewman on some Battlefront s***. That would be incredible.

Haven’t finished it yet, my main accts on Switch (played up to the Prelude there) but I made another acct on PC cuz I wanted to play it there. Just grinding through the junctions and starchart to the New War story missing my umbra af on this new acct though lol

When cross-save/play comes out, I’ll port my switch acct and play it on PC (it has EVERYTHING on it).

I been hearing about people being very excited about crossplay. I really hope they start elevating the game with that fr.

This sounds weird but currently the coop experience is kinda lonely. You used to help new players etc but right now on PC you join a lobby, everybody atleast mr20 and equiped with OP meta frames, mission done in 5 minutes, everybody quits

Basically the reason why rn solo is much more fun

I'm ngl, I just came back to Warframe because I had an itch to grind again. Finally just finished the New War.

Thought it was really disappointing. The pacing was very strange. The story itself was badly written in some parts and okay, at best, in others. Feels like it was rewritten multiple times.

Setting was very cool and the first two missions were exciting, but I was really disappointed we didn't get anything... major changed after that. Maybe I need to continue further, but for this being the biggest quest so far in Warframe history, f*** all changed. I mean, f***, more s*** happened after Deadlock Protocol than TNW...

Overall, I'm pretty sad this took 3 years to release. Felt like we should have gotten much more.
