To the latter they already said they will decide when they have more data if it stays an option as the game starter however its actually not that big of a spoiler as you might initially think as a long term player. Its oddly a different perspective

I don't think it's the story, it's the gameplay part. New players already don't know what tf is happening when they finish Vor's Prize.

When they leave Duviri and go into the Star Chart they're gonna be mega confused because the rest of the game is not at all like it. Not to mention, they still never went back and added an actual step-by-step tutorial for players to understand stuff like mods, arcanes, etc.

Hmm maybe altho the qas they added the warframe unlocks as a mini battle pass was quite smart.

Also some knowledge about intrinsic, the operator mode or just trying out weapons and frames I can see giving players motivation. They can even use the premodded frames as a guideline

Motivating new players imo is the bigger struggle than simply explaining and making it more guided on how to unlock frames which are the biggest motivators doesnt seem so bad

Idk, the biggest barrier in the game is knowledge. The majority of casuals don't want to have a wiki open while playing the game just to progress anywhere

Duviri is fun and cool and a great experience for vets and returning players, but again doesn't help new players to actually understand wtf they're doing

Just started trying to play again and... it's too much for me lol.

The updates and content are phenomenal for this game, but I just can't keep up as a returning player.

I'm currently stuck on trying to create a mech so I can play the New War quest (always loved this game's lore and story), but I'm just so lost and it's frustrating to know that I'll probably always be in this constant 'where am I and what do I even do next' bubble after getting back into the mix.

It really does wonders for a game to be developed by people that actually play it. The new team doing wonders with these quality of life changes. You mean I can actually see my invincible character now?!? Omni-fissures are a blessing and the dozens of progression systems slowly blend into each other

Building the mech was a b****. I liked the new war story but honestly it gets more frustrating as you progress.

I’m looking forward to starting the next quest. Games like this I feel like it’s easy for me to jump in and out of because despite the constant updates you can always play at your own pace and I’ve been playing since ps3 days so I can’t see any reason not to at least dive into what I missed.

„New“ dev team been very good. Game is in a great spot its like they are slowly tying in all the loose strings and systems.

Im actually out here getting arcanes maxed and using these shards. Content finally starts at high levels and wow they made cold, blast and magnetic status usable. And amor strip isnt the most important thing in the world anymore. Good stuff
