i’m pretty sure he believes that we should be living in society where kids have to suffer and have debts at such young ages

maybe you’re 15 and sheltered that’s fine but these kids are young young

Synop does have a lot of terrible takes (and he’s going a little overboard on this) but in general his point is that we shouldn’t have student lunch & I agree

school lunch debts existed even when I was in elementary school 10 years ago...

lmao and you think a kid that is in a neighborhood where you can set up a cocoa and cookies stand and actually make money while also having parents that are able to reach out for publicity isn’t somewhat sheltered?

What point are you trying to make lmao? It shouldn't have existed 10 years ago either, and whether this child is sheltered or not isn't the issue.

Its clearly some news promo that you chose to interpret as negative as possible. Noone put the kid to work for that neither does anyone believe it will actually happen. They decided to give a little girl some shine because she was being nice. I know you’ll wave that all away and throw out someother bleak vision to « counter » me but im not trying to argue. Theres bleak moments in the world but not all the time. And this one certainly isn’t. You just f***ing up your own life if you wanna keep looking at s*** like that

    Seriously, you have to
be actively going out of your way to be completely miserable to get this disgruntled about a local news Holiday season fluff piece

But why is this fluff piece existing? OP bringing up points that i think everyone ignores or forgets once they leave school. There has been some stories pop in the year about the same lunch issue for poor students.

Like it's cool little white girl did this. Im working at a company that's doing a toy drive rn for a school. Those things are fun and cool to get together to do.

But food shouldn't be a thing that a kid has to pay for. Schools just need more funding in general

it doesn’t matter if it always existed. the point is, it SHOULDNT exist.

i didn’t say anything about the girl but i’m speaking on the kids who are in debt. this girl is trying to help them but she shouldn’t have to be doing that.
