Just beat splinter cell og xbox version. Forgot how frustrating this game was but still a top tier stealth game. Especially for it's time in innovating lighting in gameplay.

    Elena tuff asf too

I must say the game had the most interesting crop of characters ever for that series but Capcom had to go backwards in time to nearly wipe it from history with Street Fighter 4 and a bit of 5

Silent Hill 2 Remake, just got to Maria. I’m really enjoying the game so far as it’s extremely respectful to the OG while delivering something new.

I copped Sonic x Shadow, this being the first time I’ve ever played Generations. Only did 2 levels so far but it’s solid.

I’m playing a lot of Black Ops 6, which it’s very unlike me to play COD like that. Game is stupid fun, need a 24/7 Stakeout weekend.

Tekken 8 as usual. Jin is fair and balanced.

Vampire Survivors Castlevania drops today and I’m gonna relapse

Limbus Company: Canto 7 "The Dream Ending" - 8/10

We're just past the halfway point of the first act in what seems to be a three-act journey, and already, Limbus Company is shaping up to be one of my top five games of all time. It keeps improving with every update, and the team's dedication is paying off—evidenced by a new peak player count during this Canto.

This Canto in particular has been great in finally interweaving the gameplay with the narrative. The story portrays battles as a brutal grindhouse, with the 12 Sinners constantly dying and being revived. They fight, they suffer, they die, they revive, and they do it all over again. The protagonists are a team that prevails through sheer attrition.

But until now, we could only use 6 of the 12 Sinners at a time in Canto battles. If one died, no one from the bench would come in to replace them. This update changes that. Now, when a Sinner falls, another member steps in to take their place for the remainder of the battle. No longer are you left wondering where the rest of the team is.

Previously, however, a Sinner's death was rare due to the combat mechanics. In Limbus Company, your Sinners’ attack skills clash with those of the enemy, and the winner of the clash gets to attack without fear of being hit back. If you managed your skills well, your Sinners would win most clashes and come out of battles almost untouched. But this Canto introduces "unbreakable" skills for enemies-skills that allow enemies to retaliate even if they lose a clash, sometimes with partial or even full power. Now, even if you play perfectly, your Sinners can’t just cut through foes effortlessly. The enemy will hit back, and eventually they will drag your Sinners down with them. Your Sinners fight, your Sinners suffer, your Sinners die, your Sinners revive, and your Sinners will do it all over again, so that they can be one step closer to that impossible dream.

mass effect 1 and resident evil 1 remake, close to finishing uncharted 2 as well

forgot to update but i finished re 1 remake like 2 weeks ago?

this was a series i thought looked cool on the outside looking in but i never gave it a chance due to me not liking horror at all. my only exposure prior was jill valentine being in MvC, RE4 through ytps (lol) and the whole chris punching a boulder meme in RE5. so for this being my first real experience with the resident evil series, i had a pretty good time with this.

despite this being a game from 2002 it held up very well visually, the fixed camera angles and lighting really captured the feeling of being lost in this haunted mansion full of all kinds of mystery and allure. all the notes you find throughout the mansion help slowly reveal the true nature and purpose of the mansion until the very end. i thought that was a very cool bit of storytelling cause on the surface level, resident evil is pretty simple story to understand. even the betrayal with wesker was pretty predictable and the way the t-virus dies at the end was very comical

gameplay wise i was certain i wasnt gonna like this at all, thinking i was probably gonna have to thug it out the whole way due to it being tank controls. surprisingly though after a while you start to get used to it, the game is also generous enough to give you auto aim whenever you try to aim your gun, so dealing with enemies wasnt a hassle (for the most part). what really held me up was the small inventory space and the amount of backtracking you have to do. ill admit for a couple moments i definitely looked up a guide to figure out where to put s***, cause a lot of times i would find or do something and have no clue what to do or where to go. not a critique on the game though i get lost very easily lmao, the few moments i actually figured something out on my own felt really rewarding.

overall i dont have any major complaints with the game i mostly enjoyed my time with it and am looking forward to playing the others in the series. i dont think im gonna play any of the remakes until i beat the ogs first. this was the only exception for me cause from my understanding the original director of the first game was also very involved with this and for the most part this game is 1 of 1 with the original aside from a few new QoL updates and mansion expansions. it also looks better than the original so yeah.

    9/10

sidenote: also played the gamecube version physically so i couldnt screenshot sadly so excuse the s***ty pics

Yeah I really liked that game but it’s not for everyone. If you like anime with seriousness and a slight bit of humor & detective stuff I’d definitely get it. Story is pretty great, while certain gameplay elements could be a turn off for some

The sequel was cool until the second half turned it to ass.
