Thanks bro!
want to try to maintain a book a week, haven’t read a novel in a couple years so might have to start incorporating some in the mix
I read 55 in 2021 but I feel like sometimes I was reading fast for completion so I’m trying to do 40 in 2022 so I can slow down a little and feel more free to read lengthy books
e-readers are GOAT for that
long video, but I'm trying to do what this guy does when it comes to note-taking on non-fiction books
!https://youtu.be/AjoxkxM_I5git's a bit technical and extreme but I started using his Notion template and hopefully it'll be useful to have my summaries, quotes, takeaways, and notes all organized like that
I legit just screen shot or take photos of specific passages that stick out to me
Read 62 books in 2021, gonna try to hit 70, but I did buy some monsters during Christmas that I plan on going through this year so I’ll have to try to find some shorter novels and novellas to make up for that if I wanna hit that goal.

Right lmao. I think I read at least 30 books in 2020 compared to 4 in 2021. It wasn’t even like I was super busy either, just spending my free time doing other stuff.
I really miss reading though and my mental health is much better when I’m doing it consistently. It’s just difficult to build up the habit though, heavy social media use has destroyed my discipline.

Damn that’s crazy good for you though in 2020🔥 Agreed on that second part something about reading is really relaxing and calming
Any of yall have tips on finishing a book like do yall reserve specific times in a day to read

I like doing an hour before I go to bed. I also have the luxury of reading at work so that’s where I do a bulk of my reading. I’ve read right after I woke up and that actually was fye.
One book a month (after not reading since childhood ) tryna set a realistic goal for myself
20 books is my aim this year. Got into a good rhythm towards the end of last year but have fell off since.
Need to get a good routine going again.
My goodreads goal is 26 books to mark my 26th year on earth. I’ve so far read 5 so I definitely think I’ll hit that target if I continue at this pace
Set my goal @ 50. I’ve started many only finished 1 😭. I still have faith in myself
