The superiority complex is definitely flipped. Africans especially older generation who immigrated tend to look down on blacks in my experience

Older Africans tend to be conservative as s*** no lie, even more conservative than older black Americans

yeah some africans have a superiority complex but this has nothing to do with african americans themselves and more to do with strict immigrant parents similarly to other immigrant parents.

people on the continent actually love black american hip hop culture and people.

but since african americans actually have no idea about the continent they make uneducated comments

Nah bro I seen it first hand, some africans very much view AA as being lesser and unmotivated, thugs, and s*** it's all due to the imagery of black people that's shown in Africa.

Like I mean akon just said some ignorant s***.

Both sides be saying some s***

    how?

It's just the logical conclusion of Twitter identity politics. Dissing white people got boring, then they moved on to dissing Latinos, when that got boring they started dissing Jews, and when that got boring they moved on to Africans -- but Africans ain't having any of that s***

like @Bri10 said, african immigrants (and like i said similarly with other immigrants) are quite conservative in the sense that they are traditional

they see AA lives as hip hop culture drinking d**** s***which of course isn’t true. they have this same kinda thing with caribbean people

but this isn’t an african thing. like i said people on the continent are fascinated with aa culture

Whether it's exclusive to african immigrants or not, it's still a harmful way of thinking, of course it ain't all Africans that have that way of thinking same for AA but it's a lot on both sides
