Lmao no he is not
He just dropped his longest running #1 album, went platinum in a month, and briefly became the most streamed rapper ever on Spotify a few weeks ago before Drake reclaimed the spot.
He has a tour coming up that will be his most successful yet, we’ve seen with big artists touring for the first time post-Covid that it only does more benefit than harm to an artist (Drake, Weeknd, Taylor, etc. all have experienced massive streaming boosts during their tours).
He will be fine if he doesn’t drop an album next year
what songs are sticking though
At least OP gave real discussion points rather than “came and went” but still let his album marinate let him go on tour then he can figure it out from there
Completely understand, just wanted to spark some different conversation around here and it went well for the most part. Appreciate you
what songs are sticking though
The album was #1 for an entire month straight and went platinum in less than a month and you’re worried about what songs are Top 40 on the Hot 100?
CLB didn’t really have no long lasting hits either, but the album has been one of the most streamed albums of the decade
i know he wanted rodeo to be released on flash drives and that got stopped.
but i mean as far as his music, visuals, release dates, touring etc i don’t think anybody could ever tell him no
dude walks in your office with justin bieber, kanye, and the weeknd features for his first album what can you really tell him lol

“Let me get an opening monologue on your debut, expeditiously”

I swear streaming numbers have warped people’s brains when it comes to music lmao
The album starts off really strong but falls apart towards the end (after track 11)
Agreed

Trav pulled a lot of stunts to stay #1 and go platinum in a month.
At least 1 song from the album should still be in the top 20

I’ll never understand how anyone at any level can get 10M-100M+ streams and be considered a flop musician. That’s not an easy task at all

not saying he's a flop , just no real hits on utopia
Astroworld had Sicko Mode,Wake Up, Yosemite, Can't Say, and Butterfly Effect
Only potential hit on utopia is "I Know"

The album has been the #1 album in the country for a month and is already platinum
And you’re worried about a hit single

where the hits at
Trav was also selling $5 vinyls lol

I’m sure any artist would rather have the #1 album in the country for a month straight than just the #1 song
You’re talking like the album debuted at #1 then freefell off the charts

My Eyes, Meltdown, FE!N, Telekenesis, and even tho niggas don’t like it K-POP. Also Thank God and Topia Twins sleeper hits but getting hella plays from people

I like all of those songs but besides Fe!n none of them will be hits.
Nigga I am in my late 20s. The album just sucked along with all those other people you mentioned. Get over it.
"You gotta be under 16 if you don't like Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho"....do y'all niggas even read back what y'all type
Listening again in full
Good god this s*** is so f***ing good the first 13 songs
Man f*** a hit who cares
I’ve been listening to Travis since 2013 and it’s still f***ing bewildering that he even got this popular in the first place, couldn’t care less if this album has hits

People don't realize it's so easy for him to do that, but it wasn't the intention at all with Utopia
What he did was actually harder, make an album that was left field and people f*** with it

Exactly, could’ve went the easy route and dropped Astroworld 2, but he didn’t, and the album was still a massive success

This album was left field for him? Huh? Just felt like any ordinary Travis Scott project lmao had the same kinda expected features, producers, and everything...that's left field?
